Dahlonega weddings tend to happen in barns, vineyards and lodges rather than hotel ballrooms — beautiful rooms, but ones with their own quirks. Where the power is. How a space with high open rafters handles sound once it's full of people. Whether load-in means a flat roll or a long walk. How the light changes when a ceremony runs late.
None of that is a problem once you've worked the venue before. It's only a problem the first time, and you don't want your wedding to be someone's first time.
I'm based in Cumming, about forty minutes south, and Dahlonega is where I work most often. That proximity matters on the day too: I arrive around two hours early, and a short drive means weather or traffic on GA-400 doesn't turn into a problem for your timeline.
